This season, VHS is taking over downtown Vancouver! With screenings at Cineplex Cinemas International Village, panels and table reads at Vancouver Film School, parties, networking events and the VHS Golden Tape Awards, VHS is making Vancouver the horror hub of Western Canada.

VHS is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of 1995’s greatest and goriest horror film, Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight. With special guests, Producers Gil Adler & Al Katz, and creator of the Demons themselves, Founder of Masters FX, Todd Masters.
Ex-soldier Frank Brayker (William Sadler) is the guardian of an ancient key that can unlock tremendous evil; the sinister but charming Collector (Billy Zane) is a demon who wants the key so he can initiate the apocalypse

Foreigner tells the story of Yasamin Karimi, a Persian teen desperate to fit in at her new high school in 2004. When she dyes her hair blonde to blend in, she unknowingly unleashes a demon tied to the parts of herself she’s trying to erase.
