Jacob Weldon is a film editor and director from the Vancouver area with a lifelong passion for creative, unique, innovative, and boundary-pushing cinema in the British Columbia film industry.
He has edited dozens of television movies produced by Champlain Media. His independent productions include ReBoot ReWind, SEED, Gut Job, BUG, and several music videos for Art d’Ecco, among others.
Jacob received the awards for Best Director and Best Short Film at the Vancouver Badass Film Festival for his short film SEED. He is currently an editor at Champlain Media and holds a diploma in Film Production from Vancouver Film School.
Loken Charon is a Canadian film director, screenwriter, and editor. He is known for the multi-award-winning short films Moshpit and Devil Makes Three, as well as co-creating the television pilot Surface of Blood.
Loken began his filmmaking journey in 2021 with his folk-horror short film Sanction, which premiered at the Montreal Independent Film Festival and received an Honourable Mention from the festival.
He is an alumnus of Vancouver’s Run N’ Gun 48 Hour Film Competition, placing in the Top 40 out of 150 films in both 2024 and 2026.
Loken founded the production company Dark River Studios, which has produced several works in the horror genre. Dark River’s picture Devil Makes Three won the Best Ensemble Award at the Vancouver Badass Film Festival in 2024.
Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Loken holds a Certificate in Video Production from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. His background in film editing informs his visionary directing style, while his broad musical tastes continue to inspire the stories and worlds he creates.
