VHS 2025 Golden Tape Awards
presented by steel and oak

Vancouver Horror Show Film Festival is a Canada Screen Award Qualifying festival, which had the honour of presenting 29 awards for feature length and short film and screenplays, and an additional four special category awards.

Hosted by VHS directors Meghan Hemingway and David Taylor, with opening remarks by BC Film Commissioner Marnie Gee, the 2025 Golden Tapes celebrated achievement in indie horror film, and shone a light on the incredible films, filmmakers, and creatives that made VHS 2025 the amazing season that it was.
