Born and raised in Vancouver and now based in Los Angeles, Sarah Walsh is an Actor, Producer, and Programmer. She serves as an integral part of the programming and procurement team for the Vancouver Horror Show, scouting and championing the next wave of premier independent genre talent.
CASEY WALKER
Casey Walker’s 26-year career has spanned Emmy Award-winning television, cult genre cinema, and Cannes-calibre historical horror. Casey Walker has consistently done things his own way — and consistently come out ahead. His is a filmography defined not by the path of least resistance but by the conviction that the stories worth telling are the ones worth fighting for. His latest feature, Ithaqua will hold its BC Premiere at VHS 2026.

Alex Vance is known for I Dare You (2016), Jane (2022) and Supergirl (2015).
Her latest short film, “Women of a Certain Rage” will screen at VHS 2026.

ANNALESE TILLING
Errin Lally and Annalese Tilling are Vancouver based Casting Directors. The duo formed Lally Tilling Casting in 2018 after 15 years+ working exclusively with Mayrs Brandstatter Casting. LTC has worked with such talents as Alison Janney in “Lou” for Bad Robot and JJ Abrams to most recently the Osgood Perkins feature "The Monkey" starring Theo James along with series for CBC, CTV, Peacock, CW, Netflix, and Hallmark.
RACHEL TALALAY
Rachel Talalay’s eclectic career spans four decades of directing and producing. She recently completely directing Yaga, a mini-series for Crave with the new superstar Hudson Williams and Carrie Ann Moss.
Her best known work includes directing classics of British television: eight episodes of Doctor Who, the acclaimed BBC Sherlock series, the final installment of Good Omens, and American television, including American Gods, Marvel’s Iron Fist, DC’s Doom Patrol, Quantum Leap, Riverdale, Sabrina, SuperGirl, and The Flash.
TALISA MAE STEWART
With credits that include Murder in a Small Town, Adventures in Love & Birding, Foreigner, and the highly anticipated Casket Girls, Talisa Mae Stewart continues to establish herself as an actor to look out for. A versatile performer with a particular affinity for the horror genre, Stewart keeps on honing her craft through consistent training and a commitment to growing as an actor. She stars as Anna in Remnant, an upcoming horror feature, further cementing her connection to the genre.
CAROLINE STERN
Caroline Stern is a Vancouver-based Film Sales Executive, Producer, and founder of Canoe Films. Caroline has launched over 250 titles internationally including J-Horror films The Ring, Dark Water, and The Grudge, Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing, and BAFTA-nominated Keyboard Fantasies. Caroline’s producing credits include Netflix-released Surviving Christmas with the Relatives (co-producer), Vice Media-released documentary, One Man and His Shoes (exec producer), and gothic horror Raven’s Hollow (Producer), an AMC Shudder Original based on events in the life of a young Edgar Allan Poe.

MATTHEW ALAN SCHMIDT
Matthew grew up in the small town of Port Alberni, BC, where he fell in love with filmmaking at a young age, teaching himself the Adobe suite to make goofy videos with his friends. His latest short film “Gal Pal Camp Massacre VII” will be screening at VHS 2026.
KAT SANDLER
Mackenzie Donaldson is a Toronto- and Los Angeles-based producer, director, and writer. She is currently Senior Vice President of Scripted Television at Blink49 Studios, where she oversees a slate of ambitious, globally minded scripted projects. Her producing credits include the Emmy-, Peabody-, and Canadian Screen Award-winning series Orphan Black, the Emmy-nominated series Snowpiercer, and the documentaries Citizen Bio and The Abnormal Beauty Company.
EDMON ROTEA
Edmon Rotea is an Edmonton-based documentary and feature film producer committed to supporting filmmakers from diverse and underrepresented communities. His producing credits include the TELUS Storyhive documentary The Line and the acclaimed independent horror feature Skinamarink, which opened in nearly 700 theatres worldwide and was named one of the best horror films of 2023 by Variety and Rolling Stone.
LEENAH ROBINSON
Leenah Robinson is an Indigenous Canadian Actress, most notable for her role in Paramount’s ‘1923’ as Baapuxti, where she worked with Aminah Nieves, Harrison Ford, and Helen Mirren. She is Mohawk from Six Nations of the Grand River, Haisla from Kitamaat, BC, and Heiltsuk from Bella Bella, BC. She starred in Don’t Even’ for CRAVE and APTN, directed by Zoe Hopkins, where she plays Violet, an intelligent young girl who is unsure of her future. She is also extremely proud of her work on the feature film ‘40 Acres’, directed by R.T Thorne, starring Danielle Deadwyler and Michael Greyeyes. She is excited for the upcoming release of 'Ithaqua', directed by Casey Walker, starring Luke Hemsworth, Kevin Durand, and Craig Luazon Leenah enjoys adventuring in her spare time, hiking, snowboarding and swimming with her cousins in Kitamaat.
JACQUELINE ROBBINS
Jacqueline Robbins is a Vancouver-based Canadian actress whose career spans film, television, and theatre. Alongside her twin sister Joyce Robbins, she is best known for iconic roles in The Wicker Man and Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. Her other credits include The Monkey, Even Lambs Have Teeth, Mina.Minerva, and Small Fish. She currently stars as Nonna Pina in Michael Gabriele’s horror comedy Unholy Night, which won the Gold Audience Award for Best Canadian Feature at the Fantasia International Film Festival.
PETER RICQ
Peter Ricq is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, writer, and performer. He has co-created several animated series, including "The League of Super Evil”, and directed music videos for his band, HUMANS.
His latest short film, “Come In” is holding its Western Canadian Premiere at VHS 2026.
TIM RIEDEL
Tim Riedel is a Red River Métis filmmaker from Treaty 1 territory in Manitoba. Working across film, television, and streaming, he began his career in animation before moving into documentary filmmaking and developing a practice rooted in ethical storytelling and the representation of marginalized communities. His credits include the award-winning documentary Jackstones and the upcoming psychological horror feature Ancestral Beasts, which he wrote, directed, and produced. The film draws on Métis identity, intergenerational trauma, and the horror of mental illness.
MEGAN PETA HILL
Megan Peta Hill is an Australian born, award-winning actor who works professionally in Film, TV, MoCap, PCap, Voice Over and Theatre internationally. Megan has worked on numerous acclaimed network series including Amazon’s world-wide number 1 hit series 56 Days, Riverdale (The CW), The X-Files (Disney), The Flash (The CW), Big Sky (ABC), Kung Fu (The CW) and Supernatural (WB), to name a few.
CHRIS OFFERMAN
Chris Offerman is an actor whose screen credits include Beverly Hills, 90210 and the horror-comedy Friday the 69th.
He joins VHS 2026 as part of the cast of Friday the 69th.
CHRISTOPHER NASH
Christopher Nash is a screenwriter, independent filmmaker, film critic, and academic whose work explores new meaning within familiar forms and genres. He holds a Master's degree in English from Dalhousie University, where his thesis reconsidered Harold Bloom's arguments on literary utility. During his schooling, he received several major awards including the Governor General's Silver Medal. Christopher has written, produced, and directed several no-budget features and operates a YouTube channel releasing micro-budget independent films, with an emphasis on horror and cult cinema. His film criticism has appeared in Vancouver Weekly and BeatRoute, and his academic criticism has appeared in The Dalhousie Review and W49. He wrote the screenplay for Remnant and serves as a producer on the film.
