Red and White Cloth binding. Front cover illustrated with diagram of The Magic Circle. Imprinted glassine dust wrapper. Red silk ribbon book marker. Marbled Endpapers. 4¾" x 6⅜". 38pp. Facsimile of the text and 11 lithographs printed in black and red from the original German work of 1527. Followed by an Introduction to the Translation and the English Translation & Commentary. Illustrations printed in black and red. One fold-out plate.

[This book is designed to raise the Devil, a grimoire offering techniques attributed to Dr. Johann Faust for binding Lucifer and Mephistophiles. The English Translation is from a manuscript prepared by Major F. G. Irwin, a friend of Frederick Hockley. It was known to Arthur Edward Waite, who cited it in his Book of Ceremonial Magic London, 1911.]
