London: Alexander MacLehose, 1934. First Edition. Black cloth boards covered with marbled paper. Dust wrapper illustrated with two duplicated rectangular vignettes. Pages trimmed at top, deckled fore-edge and foot.

6¾" x 10⅛". 107pp. Laid in is photocopy of an anonymous yet canny review.

Book is in G+ condition, boards bowed outward and show wear at top and foot of all corners. Spine is sunned at head and foot. The front flyleaf has been excised. The wood engravings and text remain pristine. The dust wrapper is tattered yet all elements of the design are present, repaired with archival tape, and enclosed in archival protective wrap. Price not clipped.
