Ki is an award-winning Polish-Canadian filmmaker whose work spans the spectrum of psychological horror and absurd comedy.
His early horror short, False Fiend, was an Official Selection at the Montreal World Film Festival. In 2016, Ki’s sketch comedy troupe HumanTown won a $500,000 production deal through the ComedyCoup competition. The resulting television special for CBC aired nationally during primetime.
Since then, he has continued creating sketch comedy shorts online, amassing more than one million views. He also writes as a successful r/NoSleep writer—the forum’s largest horror community—with his stories averaging more than 200,000 views per week. Many of his stories have been translated into more than a dozen languages.
His love of horror and humour collided in his spec pilot SuperNormal (2024), an uncanny sitcom steeped in the supernatural.
Ki recently completed a proof of concept for his debut feature, Krew (2026), a project that merges his diverse background in genre and comedy. For Ki, Krew is a career-defining endeavour that marks his transition into feature filmmaking.
